The Photos are a race of humanoid creatures, average height around 6 feet, full grown. They have a diverse and powerful military, but have an equal sence of right and wrong. They have made themselves the unofficial "defenders of the galaxy". Their leaders are the High Council, a group of 5 elders that act as advisors for the public, even though the government is democratic. They are essentially the equivalent of the President. They make great usage of Plasma weapons, and through a twist of fate, have developed the ability to develop numerous Antimatter devices.

EMR Weapons EMR, or Electro-Magnetic Ripping, is a new prototype weapon type being fielded limitedly by some elite forces. The process works as such. EMR Weapons project a powerful, tuned electromagnetic field. This has an energy field passed through it, which breaks the molecular bonds of the molecules of the area being hit. It feeds these back along the energy field back into the weapon. It converts these molecules to raw energy, and when enough energy is charged up, it can be fired back in a discharge along the energy field, creating a massive, unstable energy backlash, or bolt. Interestingly enough, it was found that at the core of this discharge, when it impacts and vapourizes the impact area, that area is so unstable that the reaction actually creates a micro-amount of antimatter, resulting in a secondary explosion. We're talking a tiny amount, less than a gram. This has a horrid effect on infanty, and vehicles don't fare much better. The drawback of the weapon, however, is that the magnetic field cannot be aimed, and as a result, you have to keep the weapon trained on the target, or the Electromagnetic Field will be interrupted.

Cool weapons, but do you have any more information on the actual organism itself? For example, what type of digestive and respiratory systems does it posses?
Also, are you going to create a new race specifically for Kosmosis? The Photos seem to be very involved in [RG] affairs, to the point where it might cause some mix-ups, having two separate versions of them existing at the same time.

As has been seen in the origional thread they're pretty much similar to humans, as far as organs and build go. And before anyone whines, that's the way I first made them, go ahead and cry about it, I don't really care much. I will create a new race for Kosmosis, I just don't quite have one... Yet....

Well what about culture, history, religion, etc.? I'd really like to see more of these guys beyond their military.

Just to let you know (and I'm not getting all scientifiky with you), but one gram of antimatter is the equivalent of three of the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima. So even having a fraction (like 1/3) would still be the size of one atom bomb. Even having 1/50 gram of antimatter is roughly one kiloton of TNT.
And there really isn't any need to rush and post a race as fast as possible. It will be a bit of time before any RP starts, so you don't just have to post these guys in order to post them. Put some more thought into them, like the examples Clarke said.

RELIGION: The Photos god is simply known as "The Creator". They believe he hears everything a Photos says or thinks. Religious teachings dictate that everyone should be equal, and that others have their right to believe in their own gods, as The Creator is not the only one that exists, though he is the Photos' flag deity. There is no prayer or such, as they believe that he hears all they think or say, and judges them based on that.

I know, I just said under a gram, because it's under a gram. It's somewhere between 1-3 molecules of it.

You do know that you can't link to Gamingsteve and you should probably revise your ridiculous EMR weapon, right? I mean, it would be cool to have a weapon that manipulates magnetic fields to shoot electricity and fry things, all while being plausible. just imagine some trooper storming in and giving some villainous alien a lightning bolt to the frickin face!

Uh, UFO, yes you CAN link to gamingsteve, so long as it is connected to your creature. No random linking, though. Or at least, that's what it meant from what I made of it.

Actually, the second guideline purposely states it wants a clean split from GamingSteve, so a no-link policy would probably be best.
Edit: Also, I agree with UFO King. It doesn't really matter, though, as weapons aren't really that important.

Ok, I misunderstood the rule. So if we want to carry our creature over, we have to copy everything by hand? That's a little...disapointing.

It's a deterrent against just bringing your creature over. Besides, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle since most of your thread is just a flame war.
