Well, it seems like no one really wants to RP, so I'm going to go ahead and post one of my own stories concerning the first vassal race that the Amorusk conquer. It is told from the Dresam's (the creatures being conquered) perspective.
Just a little backstory: The Dresam had already expanded to several systems and were fairly industrialized, although their technology was several decades behind the Amorusk upon contact. At first, relations were peaceful as this was one of the first alien contacts the Amorusk had. It was during a routine diplomatic envoy that the hostilities began.
