One of the few weaknesses of the Yerxe is the fact that their blood pumps so fast, poisons get spread throughout the body in no time at all. They're rather weak to foreign diseases, but if given enough time they'll adapt to become immune.
Yeah, I know I haven't posted them yet. But it'll be a sort of redesigned version, with different features and an ocean planet as a homeworld.
On that note, I see nothing wrong with telepathy.

After you mentioned that, I suddenly remembered a certain image from the Yerxe thread. That was, very graphic... And I hope it makes it into the Kosmosis version! ;D I was the one who made the Tragdante game and started that trend, yuu. *recalls* HOLY, your right! ;D Sweet!

Has anyone noticed how similar this creature is to The Thing?
Get me Kurt Russel!

If non-hominina can't get malaria, how does this work on everything? No, quantum sciences don't allow a cellular blob faster then light telepathy to tell each other the answer.

It's called I don't care what you think, blocks. They're not your average organisms.

No, quantum sciences don't allow a cellular blob faster then light telepathy to tell each other the answer. Wierder things have happened in real life. The most glaring of which is self-awareness. And seeing as almost all the creatures here are sapient...

Why don't you just leave, blocks? Drop the argument before you end up like me, since we're both so argumentative.

I have a feeling it has something to do with quantum entanglement, but that just shifts the question as to how they create entangled particles.
Though, it might arise when the cells split, if they could somehow pull it off. However, that leads to potential "breaks" in the chain, as each cell would only have links to its direct ancestor and its descendants.
Perhaps they're produced by specialized cells/organs/etc, then passed on to individual cells? Gah, it is full of holes.

Holes people need to stop poking. I know it's full of holes.
There are military tactics that the Tunmu could use that could utterly destroy a planet's entire ecosystem, but they don't use them because it's too powerful, for instance.

Can't you just say they have computer implants or somethin'? I mean, that would resolve the entire issue without any major change in how the organisms behave.

Computer chips require this "precursor" race you say shouldn't exist. So, no.

Seems Sam said that... but yeah. The principle is an underlying part of the race, I can't remove it.
