Clothing
Iathrian clothing is made from a material similar in composition to linen or finely woven cotton. It is almost invariably colored white, so as to facilitate the reflection of the sun from the wearer's body. It's generally rather baggy, held on by special draping and tying techniques which hold the robe together. It's airy for circulation, especially in the neck area (as that's one of the densest concentrations of blood vessels near the surface), since Iathrians don't sweat, a closed robe would become painfully hot. There's no headgear involved, no hoods or anything, although a small, thin headband-like strip of cloth is sometimes worn over the eyes to prevent sand from getting into them.
Iathrians sometimes wear sandal-like shoes, though it's not normally required due to the sand not being very damaging to walk on for long periods of time (unless it's hot, in which sandals are mandatory to prevent burns).

This is definitely one of my favorite races on Kosmosis so far, and I would have said it earlier but it took some time to get my account approved.
I don't think you have yet, so I will mention it - care to elaborate on the use of the tail-like object between their legs? I assume it stores fat like a leopard gecko or something, but it has me curious.

Great looking ship and my race uses a Warp Drive too. It's not a warp-drive unless it defies the light barrier. Actually, a warp drive bends space around itself to move the ship without having the ship ever move. ...Look it up.

I think the correct term would be to "circumvent" the light barrier.
But that's just my opinion.
