That's because the Orealyianis were once under TI care and hence the cultural and technological diffusion. It's be like arguing why 1780s USA has British technology. Then again, whatever floats your boat, Raz. The Tunmu don't have to contact them. So what is their technological level? Care to write a post or something?

Thanks a bunch. So what is their technological level? Care to write a post or something? What do you think this is, Raz, a contest? I don't give a wooden nickle for tech differences. I, for one, am after it for the story. If you've been paying attention since I joined GS, all my works had something to do with metaphysical and philosophical scenarios. The Terran-Ixians were robot angels from spaaaaaaaaaaaace for goodness sake, even the naming should've clued you into that. "Corps," "Choirs," and all that jazz. The "User" is only one of many highly-advanced beings that seed the multiverse with their versions of life. The Athema and Universal Administrators were angels and Bathariadne, or "King of the World," is the first of the fallen ones. The Civil War that lead to the creation of "Them" was a parallel to a certain other war. The Orealyians were pretty much the victims of a super-cluster-wide Holocaust, getting scattered all across the known universe before establishing their new home in the RG and forming a small yet very advanced military. Also, stop being a hypocrite about magi-tech/tech-magi being overused. If we were to go by your logic, flesh and blood creatures would be the lamest design of them all. As an aside, you don't see me complaining about quantum tunneling through individual cells, now do you? Anyway, you just love spoon-feeding and spoiling mysteries, don't you? If I explained it all now, the entire central point of the Devex, whether it's magic or not, will go down the drain.

Whatever. Anyways, will be placing anatomy and physiology in the first update. Replaced Government with Hierarchy since it makes it easier to understand the different terms involved if I start with the latter.
Basic Hierarchy Devex society is a meritocracy. One's place in the hierarchy is decided through one's overall level of performance. Aside from special circumstances like developing new technologies, revolutionizing the arts or saving the collective from a detrimental situation, the above rationale is almost exclusively the arbiter of one's rank in society. There are several tiers in Devex society, with higher ones usually being granted greater powers and honors, which are in turn accompanied by equally greater amounts of civic responsibility. The Lixah, or "[The] Initiates" in their language, are Devex of the second lowest rank. This tier of society is composed purely of Basic Citizens, who are considered as the standard form of the species, and is also the form all Devex initially take the moment they are born. After their birth and initial ceremony of initiation called the Kaxah Xulan, or "[The] First Rite," the Lixah are taught the ways of the Devex and their responsibility within the collective. For a hundred years, they will study the different arts until they have chosen which profession they wish to uphold. Once decided, they undergo a second ceremony of initiation called the Xamit Xulan, or "[The] Second Rite," wherein their bodies shall be reshaped to that of their chosen profession. They will then train for an additional number of years before undergoing a third ceremony called the Xalos Xulan, or "[The] Third Rite," wherein their title of Lixah is replaced with a title corresponding to the path which they had chosen. The Xarab, or "[The] Selected" in their language, is the umbrella term used to describe all Devex of the third rank. They are composed of the many different professions which form the majority of the working population. The Xarab are further divided into different divisions called Xuda, or "Order ." Each Xuda has it's own title, which is worn by all members of that specific group. The title corresponds to the action performed by the specific profession.
After their Xalos Xulan, the Xarab set to work within their Xuda, slowly rising in the internal rankings with each good action yet at the same time going down in rank for each shortcoming committed. The severity of the change in rank corresponds with the intensity of the meritorious action or deplorable deed performed.
There comes a time when a Xarab performs actions which not just distinguishes them, but puts them above all the rest. When such an event does occur, the Xarab is given three options, remain in one's current rank, succeed the Xuda's current leader, or establish one's own.
Alternatively, if one's performance is well beneath par, so much that it is considered a felony, one can get demoted back to a Lixah. Or worse yet, recycled into the lowest rank of all.
The Ximnah, or "[The] Leader" in their language, is the fourth rank in Devex society. They are composed of the highest-ranking member of each Xuda. Collectively, they form the Xanta Xamtoza, or "Lower Council," which is in charge of managing and overseeing the lower ranks of Devex society.
All Ximnah are continuously evaluated, with each individual being assigned an ordinal number which corresponds to their level of performance. The twelve highest members are considered to be above their fellow Ximnah, and are thus set apart from the rest. These select few are bestowed with the highest possible rank in Devex society.
The Nimseraxah, or "[The] Twelve" in their language, is the fifth and highest rank in Devex society. They are composed of the twelve most competent individuals within the collective. They answer to no other Devex Xanta Xamtoza, or "Lower Council," which is in charge of managing and overseeing the lower ranks of Devex society.
The Vatxah, "[The] Howler," is the lowest rank in Devex society. They are the no-names, the no-lives, the nothings of society. This is because, technically, they aren't actually people at all, but merely hollow shells of a true sapient and sentient being.
The vatxah are incapable of possessing either sapience or sentience, but are merely on the class of a low-level domesticated animal, though they are quite skilled in performing the tasks commanded of them.
To become a vatxah, one must be so deviant, or incompetent, that the government is forced to confiscate your thoughts then put it in storage and eventually run it through correction therapy. Your body is then converted to a vatxah and subsequently used for manual labor, cannon fodder, or both.

Integumentary System The Devex' Xuku, or "Integument," is the collection of anatomical components that protect the body from harm, comprising the Tilxoheb, or "Clothing," Xoro, or "Skin," and if present, features like feathers, hair, horns, nails, scales and shells. The Xuku performs a variety of functions: - It serves to seal, cushion and protect internal structures.
- It manages the assimilation of grafted tissue.
- It excretes waste and excess material.
- It manages thermal regulation.
- It is the site for the receptors of pain, touch, pressure and temperature.
- It serves as a form of weaponry or armor in many military body types.
- In more rare occasions, it may even be used for camouflage by certain Xuda.
The Tilxoheb is named after it's clothe-like function and appearance, usually forming the majority of a Devex' outer appearance. It is primarily used as the body's first layer of defense, against both disease and direct physical harm. Some Xuda, especially militarily-oriented ones, have Tilxoheb so strong they practically function as a built-in suit of armor. Another interesting thing to note is that unlike most creatures' clothing, the Tilxoheb actually contains the tissues necessary for thermal regulation, acting similar to the radiators used in most space vessels. This is the primary reason why some parts of the Devex' integument feel so hot to the touch. It also houses a generous amount of touch and pressure receptors, yet only a vanishingly small amount of pain sensors. This allows Xuda with relatively free-flowing Tilxoheb to essentially feel for their immediate surroundings, without the risk of experiencing traumatic levels of pain due to injury. The Xoro, on the other hand, is usually said to be the Devex' true skin. It can perform the first five integumentary functions listed above, and in some Xuda, can even act as an additional layer of camouflage. As for features like feathers, horns, nails, and shells, they can sprout in either the Tilxoheb or Xoro, or even both.

Musculoskeletal System The Devex' Rinxah Xev Xetzem, or "Muscle and Bone," are the collection of anatomical components that support the body, allow motion, and protect vital internal components. It is made up of the body's frame, actuators, and all manners of connective tissue.
The Rinxah mainly serves as the body's main source of locomotive capability. It is the collection of all the actuators located in the body. The kinds of actuators present, and the methods they use to perform their functions, varies from Xarab to Xarab, with some Xarab even possessing propeller-like actuators. This being said, some Devex can perform feats of flexibility which most flesh-based creatures cannot.
The Xetzem, on the other hand, mainly serves as the body's chassis. It is made up of a matrix of microscopic machines arranged in varying fashions, with the hardiest ones possessing a tetrahedral structure and more flexible ones having more dynamic patterns. The structures also have varying levels of hollowness, depending on the individual's Xuda, with extremely hollow ones found mostly in those capable of levitation or flight.

Nervous System The Devex' Lixotah, or "[System of] Control," is the network of Xakav, or "String ," Xolnah, or "Voice," and Xaragah, or "Feeling," which jointly coordinate the actions of an individual and transmit signals between different parts of the individual.
The Xakav can be likened to the neurons found in biological organisms, with one major difference, they employ fiber-optics instead of electrochemical transmission. This allows for faster reflexes, especially for the more larger Xuda. Individual Xakav can vary wildly in length, with the smallest ones being microscopic and the longest being end-on-end.
The Xolnah are wireless transmitters that pass information to and from the Xel and Temex. Their location varies, sometimes being within the body, and sometimes outside of it. Their numbers also vary, depending on how much is necessary.
The Xaragah is the umbrella-term for all of the Devex' sensors, save for their field sense, which is produced by their brain.
The Devex' nervous system is divided into two parts, the Xermaza Lixotah, or "Central [System of] Control," and Xetsiba Lixotah, or "Auxiliary [System of] Control."
The Xermaza Lixotah contains the Kaxah Xokham, or "First Brain," Xamit Xokham, or "Second Brain," Xalos Xokham, or "Third Brain,"and Xaragah Xhel Xor, or "Feeling of Light."
The Kaxah Xokham is the Devex' "real" brain, being it's seat of consciousness. It performs most of the individual's higher-order functions, including voluntary body movements.
The Kaxah Xokham is located in the very center of the Xel.
The Xamit Xokham is the Devex' "core of reflex," so to speak. It is in charge of the more complicated reflexes, which usually require four or more coordinated actions that all need high levels of precision. The term "surgical precision" can sometimes be meant quite literally in some Xuda.
One thing to note with the Xamit Xokham's reflexes, and Devex reflexes in general, is that most of them can be "switched on and off" by the Xamit Xokham. This sometimes lead to Devex using their reflexes to handle things almost totally by itself while using their minds to handle more pressing matters, like thoroughly analyzing long-term goals.
The Xamit Xokham's located varies from Xuda to Xuda, though it is generally within the torso.
The Xalos Xokham is the Devex analogue to the spinal cord. It is the hub that connects all the other components of the nervous system located in the Temex. It is also the one that sends signals to the Xolnah, which in turn deliver it to the Kaxah Xokham.
Additionally, the Xalos Xokham is also the one responsible for basic reflexes found in the Temex.
The Xaragah Xhel Xor are the Devex' visual receptors, they have a visible spectrum that ranges from infrared to ultraviolet. They cover the entire surface of the Xel and are connected directly to the Kaxah Xokham.
An interesting thing to note about the Devex is their visual receptors also double as scent receptors. When a Devex looks at an object, it does not merely see the object, it also smells it at the same time. Simply put, they have natural synesthesia.
The Xetsiba Lixotah consists of sensors, clusters of subordinate-hub Xakav, and the Xakav connecting them to each other and to the Xermaza Lixotah. These regions are all interconnected by means of complex fiber-optic pathways.

Government The Devex has a meritocratic form of government. Position is determined by one's overall level of performance. Only during great or dire circumstances, such as a coup, is this policy ignored. The Xalem Xamtoza, or "Above Council" is the highest department a Devex could attain within the government, and in society in general. They have many functions, including, but not limited to: - Acting as the main representatives of their respective Xuda, and of Devex civilization as a whole.
- Overseeing the Xanta Xamtoza, and overriding them if need be.
- Leading the Devex' military as commanders in chief.
- Serving as the highest circle of what can be considered the Devex' priesthood.
Jointly with the Xanta Xamtoza, the Xalem Xamtoza have the following functions: - Creating new laws.
- Amending old laws.
- Abolishing laws that have become obsolete.
- Judging trials that have reached the highest court of justice.
The Xanta Xamtoza, or "Lower Council" is the second highest department. They have the following functions: - Acting as the main representatives of their respective Xuda.
- Overseeing the lower tiers of society.
- Leading their respective Xuda.
The Xolac Xamtoza, or "All Council," is a special department formed by the fusion of the Xalem Xamtoza and Xanta Xamtoza. This combined council is in charge of creating, amending and abolishing laws, judging high-level cases and making crucial decisions that will shape the fate of the entire civilization. The Xolac Xamtoza discusses the current issue, or issues, at hand before conducting a vote and presenting their verdict to the rest of the population. During the Xolac Xamtoza, each member of the Xalem Xamtoza has a five percent voting power, with a combined total of sixty percent when all twelve members are accounted for. The remaining voting power is then distributed evenly among the Xanta Xamtoza. The Xuda, or "Order ," on the other hand, slightly vary on their form of internal government. The most liberal of which possess sizable internal councils relative to population, while the most traditional ones follow a very strict and linear hierarchy. Most Xuda are located in or near the middle of the scale, opting to have multiple internal councils that are stacked on top of each other according to rank.
The Lixah, or "[The] Initiates," as their name implies, not yet fully-fledged members of the civilization. They are, consequently, treated by the law as, what others would consider, "minors." They have no right in political participation in the same way children are not allowed to run for office.
The way the Lixah are treated in the political scene would probably offend most democratic civilizations, even to the point of calling out the Devex as totalitarians. However, they must understand that despite the Lirxah Ezrax's seemingly adult physique and mind, they have yet to achieve complete maturity, compared to the Xarab and other higher tiers. In fact, individuals who have shown their profound incapability to act responsibly are commonly sent back to being a Lirxah Ezrax. It's the Devex' way of saying "You are such a noob. Go lurk moar."
The Vatxah, or the "Howler," is the lowest strata of Devex society. They have no say in anything at all and are seen merely as tools. One must take care not be deceived into pitying these people, however, as the Vatxah have no capability for sapience or sentience, at all.

Cardiovascular System The Devex' Virix, or "[Blood] Vessel " is the network of tunnels which act as passageways for energy, excreta and raw materials.
An individual Virix possesses three components:
- One vessel containing materials that flow radially, covered in ring-like pumps which deliver the fluid to all of the body's components.
- Another vessel containing materials that flow proximal to the center, covered in relatively larger ring-like pumps which deliver the fluid back to the "heart
."
- A third line which is basically a conduit for electricity, supplying the body with much needed energy.
These three components are intertwined to form a single larger vessel, which in turn converge until they form one, or several, central hubs located in the middle of the torso. These hubs act as their analogue for hearts, though one must take not that these "hearts" aren't "true" hearts, but merely larger versions of the ring-like pumps found in smaller Virix.
Do take note that like the Temex, the Xel also possesses Virix, though most of the energy is actually delivered via wireless energy transfer, which comes from the Temex.

Digestive System The Devex' have no digestive system. They do, however, eat. Unlike most organisms who consume a variety of raw materials in order to get energy and produce complex biological substances, the Devex take a slightly different approach. Instead of importing raw materials, the Devex consume a thick paste composed of prefabricated microscopic machines. The same ones that make up the machines in their body. They are literally importing microscopic spare parts in order to replace broken components or build additional ones. That being said, a Devex that has no access to said substance would eventually wear away and die. Additionally, the Devex require a constant flow of electricity in order to survive. When not connected to a source, individuals usually switch to their reserve energy, located in batteries all over the body. The batteries are called Perixah, or "Fruit ," and are known to be extremely volatile if ignited in large amounts, like those found in the largest of Devex.
The Devex usually obtain both electricity and the paste by submerging themselves in pools of the substance that is fed with a constant supply of energy.
